Interesting Fact: Peter is an expert tracker and safari guide able to lead our youth safely through Kenya’s Masai Mara without so much as a scratch.

Peter serves as Free The Children’s Africa projects director, overseeing the Kenya School of the Savannah: Peace and Leadership Center and our in-country leadership programs.

Peter holds a degree in environmental studies and a diploma in community development and has worked as an education officer for youth and adults for over a decade. He also has extensive experience overseeing holistic development projects; projects that meet with the goals, needs and existing assets of the communities he works in.

Peter is an expert tracker and safari guide able to lead our youth safely through Kenya’s Masai Mara without so much as a scratch. He can even make himself invisible to lions and hyenas—or so he tells us (wink, wink)!
