Join us at the Arizona-Mexico border and experience the true American Southwest! Witness firsthand the challenges of development on a trip featuring skills training at the Arizona Wind-Song Leadership Center, a family homestay in northern Mexico and a visit to a Native American reservation in Arizona.

Nestled in the mountains of southwest Arizona, the Arizona Wind-Song Leadership Center is blessed with breathtaking views and abundant wildlife—truly a site to behold. The scene is set for your exhilarating journey of personal discovery and leadership development.

Arizona Wind-Song is located a few short miles from Mexico at the welcoming ranch home of Virginia Benderly, a renowned poet, author and chef. “Gini” has been actively involved with Leaders Today and our partner organization Free The Children for many years. With her incredible kindness and faith in youth, she has opened the doors of her beautiful home to hundreds of young leaders from around the world.

The center can host up to 18 people and is ideal for youth and school groups looking for a fully-equipped yet versatile leadership center. The ranch itself comprises several houses, each with kitchen facilities and air conditioning. A large meeting space overlooking spectacular rolling hills provides a perfect arena for educational and leadership workshops. From animate cheerleaders to part of the scenery during reflections, the unceasing energy of the center’s staff ensures a supportive and fun learning environment.

Delicious food, peaceful living and majestic mountain views all work together to create an atmosphere of thoughtful contentment. Trip participants can reflect on each day at inspirational lookout points, walk through a labyrinth inspired by a traditional Native American design, or simply gaze up at the countless stars dotting the Arizona night sky.
